Death is inevitable, suffering may be optional

It’s time to re-think how we die

Death Differently is a cinematic education documentary series highlighting alternative approaches to death, dying, and grief. Each character-driven episode focuses on an individual topic - Medical Aid in Dying (MAID), wind telephones, alternative death advocates, music thanatology, green burial, and many others.

The first season of Death Differently will be released summer 2024, accompanied by an online educational platform that will provide additional end-of-life and grief support resources. A film featuring Lynda Bluestein’s journey accessing Medical Aid in Dying in Vermont as an out of state resident is coming late 2024.

The pilot episode of Death Differently follows death positivity advocate Shatzi Weisberger as she - and her community - navigate the end of her life.
